Chattanooga Training Camp
I am very excited to be hosting camp again in Chattanooga. I have been able to hold this triathlon training camp since 2016, with the exception of some pandemic years. And I must say, it is one of my favorite camps. This year it will be no exception! Outlined below will be some details about camp, FAQs, and the link to register. I hope you can make plans to attend because it is a fun weekend of training in a supportive environment.
Details
Camp starts on Friday, April 21st and ends on Sunday, April 23rd. For those that are targeting Chattanooga 70.3 in May, this is four weeks out from the race.
We have a ton of fun and get in a lot of work in a few short days at camp. We’ll kick the weekend off with a fun run session and then have a relaxing group dinner at a local restaurant, The Feed Co.
Saturday is our big training day. We’ll do a long bike ride on the Chattanooga 70.3 bike course and it will include SAG support. There are options for every rider as we’ll have distance options and the option to “just ride” or do a workout. We follow the bike with a run off the bike before lunchtime. The afternoon is packed with swimming and a clinic before we have a fun cookout that evening.
Sunday we wrap camp up with a long run on the Chattanooga run course followed by post run coffee and breakfast. For those that want to stay into the afternoon, we’ll have an optional recovery bike ride session planned.
